The "Student Right-to-Know and Campus Security Act" (PL. 101-542)
regulations implemented under the Higher Education Amendments of 1998
(HEA98) mandates that all institutions participating in Title IV or HEA
(Higher Education Act) programs disclose certain institutional information
to its currently enrolled and prospective students. The intent of this
Notice is to inform you where you may go to obtain copies of each of the
institutional disclosures for North Shore Community College.

Financial Assistance Information
A description of student aid programs, application procedures, eligibility
criteria and rights and responsibilities of students receiving financial
aid can be obtained in North Shore Community College's Financial Aid
Overview, Terms and Conditions, Application Guidelines and Instructions pamphlet located in the College's Financial Aid Offices (Danvers, F106
and Lynn, LW155).
Institutional Programs & Policies
Information on cost, academic programs, accreditation, special services,
campus contacts, as well as a description of the institution's refund
policies, return of funds to Title IV, and the institution's procedures
for officially withdrawing can be obtained in the College Catalog located in the Admissions Offices (Danvers, F105 and Lynn, LW154), in
the Student Support Center (Beverly, SR129) and at the Essex Aggie Campus
(Berry Hall).
Annual Campus Security Report

) includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes
that occurred on campus; in certain off-campus buildings or property owned
or controlled by North Shore Community College and on public property
within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus. For
information about institutional policies concerning campus security, such
as policies concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting
of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters, consult the campus
police area of this Web site.
The Family Education Rights & Privacy Act (FERPA)

and disclosure of information in the student's record. This information
can also be found in the "Student's Rights and Responsibilities Pamphlet," the Student Handbook, and the College Catalog
located in the Student Life, Student Support Center, and the Enrollment Center Offices on the Lynn and Danvers campuses.
Computer Use Policy
Computers at North Shore Community College are made available to students, faculty, and staff and when appropriate, to the community at large. Use is devoted exclusively to educational purposes, including scholarly and institutional communication, information gathering and computing instruction.
